Welcome to maridesign.ca, this website has been a long time coming.

personal background:

I was born in Trinidad and moved to New Brunswick, Canada when I was 3 years old. In 1998 I moved to Nova Scotia to study at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University (NSCADU) were I've earned my degree Major in Graphic Design. I was very fortunate to create web and design material with and for several great institutions while I living in Nova Scotia like: web designer & developer for The Black Artist Network, communications officer for the Council on African Canadian Education, & freelance designer for Next Magazine.

In 2005 I decided to spread my wings and move to Toronto and am currently employed as Graphic Designer and Web Specialist at George Brown College.

Mari (ma-rye) Design was created to showcase a selection of my work and also to give me the opportunity to flex my creative muscles every now and then.
